Photo of the week – Is it going to be fight or flight?

Posted on Fri December 4, 2015.

This image captures a great moment in the wilderness, where one specie’s flight influences the “sitting around” of another specie too.  In life we find the same thing, even though we aren’t always aware of the way that our choices influence those around us.  They surely do however, and whether we decide to fight or take flight – others will surely feel the ripple of it too!

This lovely image of a nyala and ox-pecker was taken by our guest Margie Botha on a recent photographic course at Indlovu.  It was taken from inside our unique sunken hides, and the technical details are as follows:

Nikon D750

200 – 400mm lens

1/2500 sec

f5.6

ISO 500
