Photo of the Week – The cheeky nyala

If that red-billed ox-pecker didn’t seem so bewildered, one might have thought that this nyala is sticking out its tongue at us because of one or other trophy on its head!

The poor bird doesn’t seem to know what is going on though and the nyala is possibly only enjoying its sip of water at the waterhole 🙂

This image was recently taken by our guest Margie Botha from the sunken photographic hide.  It was during a photographic course at Indlovu.
