Wildlife Photography Blog – And so arrive the lions…

Posted on Fri July 8, 2016.

What a pleasure to start photographing the lions from the sunken wildlife photography hides…!  We are thrilled that they’ve become accustomed to the hides, and are now frequently visiting.

This great image was captured by well-known wildlife photography expert Albert Froneman.  He has recently hosted a wildlife photography workshop at Indlovu, and we look forward to welcoming him back in August.

As often happens with the images captured from the sunken hide, this one doesn’t disappoint with the mirror images produced on the smooth surface of the drinking hole.  The sunken hides are located right next to the waterholes, which enable these great shots.

Albert Froneman will be hosting his next Instructional Wildlife Photography Workshop at Indlovu River Lodge from 6 – 9 August 2016 (3 days, 4 nights).
